Equine Rescue & Adoption Foundation In order to do something to help the local horse communities besides taking in every horse, they are fielding these "personal" horse notices for people who are looking for good homes for their horses. The ads will be posted on their website at www.eraf.org as well. Please cross post these notices & ask anyone you know who is looking for a horse to check with ERAF. If you would like to volunteer or donate, please contact ERAF at 772-220-0150.
The club has been given permission to place a secure storage device by the new arena. This device will be used to store JHA equipment used for shows in that Arena. The old storeage shed will remain by the Grass Arena to store equipment used for shows in that arena. If anyone knows of someone that would be willing to donate a container or can get a good price on one please notify: Peg or Flossie
Volunteers are needed for this year's shows. Please contact the show chairman as soon as you can.

DOG I have been fostering this little girl for about 1 month now and want to start looking for her forever home. If someone out there may know someone looking. I do know everyone is being over whelmed with this type of request. I would appreciate any help I can get in finding this little girl a home.
She is 3 yrs old come August, she is a pure breed, very shy around men. She needs a mom mostly. But well mannered and very sweet once you win her trust.

8/6/10This is feebee and she is a pure bread brussels, 3 yrs old, she has been spayed and well kept, given up due to economy and health issues of her mom of 2 years. I am fostering her but will be leaving on vacation the 19th of this month. So looking for either a home or maybe a temporary foster home until end of August. If anyone can help please call.

Good looking, well behaved, and quiet (only barks when there's a reason to) neutered pit bull mix available for adoption. He's believed to be part hound. Tan and white colored. Three years old, house broken, micro-chipped, and up to date on shots and heart worm prevention. He weighs around 50lbs and is great with kids and other dogs. Everyone who has met this dog loves him. He would do well in a home with other nice dogs, room to run, and with someone who gives him lots of attention. Photos are attached, and references confirming he's a great dog can be provided upon request.
I have an old GT) 1000 gate opener. The board is in great shape as is the battery but the arm is shot. It is the older square arm. They don't make parts for it and a new one is overpriced cause they want you to buy a whole new system. I am trying to salvage what I have.
So, if anyone has an arm in decent shape I will buy it for a reasonable price. Please spread the word. During storms the lightening will take the board out so I believe there have to be people who have the arm and their board is shot.

8/10/10Beautiful long, grey hair cat needs a home can be a barn cat. She is approximately 10 years old. She doesn't like to be around young children. She used to live with a dog and another cat, so she does alright around other animals. Owner had to move and unfortunately cannot take the cat. We were rescued once, now we need to be rescued again.
We are kittens and cats that were rescued from a house that was being torn down. We
managed to get away from the destruction, machines and rubble. Now we need a new start.
We are from 6 weeks to 1-1/2 years old. Some of us are boys, some are girls.
Our rescuers had us spayed, neutered HIV and leukemia tested (negative) and also gave
us our shots.
Now it is up to us to find new homes. Some of us would make nice pets and a couple
of us love the barn. Have rats will catch is our Motto.

My daughter, Kate, and I are looking for a second horse to live at our home with our AQHA gelding, Dude. We focus on natural horsemanship. Kate is intermediate/experienced...she's been training since she was about 7, and is now almost 15...so she loves a softer mouth, and a more responsive and supple horse. We've been looking for mare or gelding between 14.2-15.1 ish...Kate is about 5'7" and still growing...

08/17/10I have an 11 hand white pony that I bought. He didn't pass the vet check due to an eye injury. I need a home for him for a few months until the people I bought him from are ordered to return my money and take the pony back. He can be lead around with small children but should not be ridden because he really spooks from the eye sight issue. Otherwise he is very sound and an easy keeper. Can you pass this message along to your address book of horse people. I will pay for his food while he is at his temporary home. Attached is a picture of him. He has perfect manners also, no biting, no kicking, cross ties, just spooks a lot under tack. He needs an acre or so just to be turned out in. He is turned out now and he is fine. The farm I am at is running out of room and I have to get him off the property. UTD on all shots.
